a few days ago i read an article about a abandoned fake Disneyland outside of Bejing china. The article was about how th park was supposed to be the largest theme park in Asia. Now after being abandoned in the late 90's the park is now farmland for farmers in the village. This article also talks about how the park is completely open to he public and how people travel from every where to explore the park, since everyone if given the chance to travel to china to explore a theme park that is abandoned.

On the inside of all this sopa and pipa madness they busted the founder of megaupload. Megaupload was a website that allowed people to upload and download files, including the illegal kind. Lots of people were abusing the use of the site to illegally download music and movies. He was released on bail because the judge ruled he didn't have enough money to flee the country. Kim dotcoms website generated over 175 million dollars in illegal downloads and stolen material which would account to a long time in a cold jail cell. While megaupload could have been a great site for

In rome some restorers have layed out a 33 million dollar plan to restore the roman Colosseum. Activists against this say it could cause damage to it and cause lasting and dangerous damage to the monument which could cause it to collapse or make it unsafe forcing it to close down losing millions of dollars in tourism money. Also this project would take a really long time which would most likely mean closing the monument for a period of time losing the itilian government lots of money, since it gets up to 2 million visitors a year

http://cnnphotos.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/27/the-ship-graveyards-of-bangladesh/

Each year hundreds of old tankers, ferries, and cargo ships are brought to the mud flats of Bangladesh to spend their remaining years being broken down into scrap metal. I think it is just crazy that there are the massive ships just sitting in the mud waiting for the workers to show up with a blow torch and start cutting metal off for scrap. Also these are not just small ships they are massive, hundreds of feet long and tall just wasting away in the mud. Plus this cant be safe there are hundreds of workers and one wrong step could result in them falling 10 stories to a horrible death, but in their eyes its a way for them to make money and support their families.

http://www.cnn.com/2012/01/18/opinion/mcdiarmid-sopa-legislation/index.html?hpt=op_mid

Basically this article talks about how much work needs to be done to these bills before they should even consider passing them. In my opinion right now in the current state they are they give way to much power to anybody. A person who accuses a website of plagiarism can pretty much make a complaint and have the website shut down which is ridiculous. Also giants like google and wikipedia and youtube could be shut down. For example youtube would have to control their users and not let them use any music and if someone happens to see a plagiarized song then the whole website could be shut down. Plus there will never be a complete removal of plagiarism but it would help, but its just not good enough right now. So now that you know my stand point on these ridiculous bills go look for your self and get your own opinion.

http://capitalregion.ynn.com/content/top_stories/569918/four-legged-crossing-guard-causing-a-stir-in-greenwich/?hpt=us_bn4
A few minutes ago i finished reading a article on CNN called four legged crossing guard. I was about a very strange occurrence. Clifford mealy and his dog sophy had just moved to greenwich county. Clifford obviously had to get a job so he signed on as a crossing guard on one condition, sophy would be his side kick. Immediately, mentions the article sophy was a huge hit. It even tells how mealy had a special sign made for the dog to carry across the street with each crossing. Dogs are very intelligent i think and this is definitely a great example of how smart they truly are. Mealy tells how this is ljust another way to put a smile on a child's face and he hopes to keep sophy around in the future. Truly who can complain about a smart dog "doing her civic duty", i know i cant.

Summary-The article about zombies roaming in medieval ireland was very interesting. It was about a few bodies discovered buried next to eachother in a grave. the article said this was uncommon and seemed as if it was done on purpose. Also the bodies had large rocks shoved into their mouths, as if they would come back to life and try to eat people.

Paraphrase-One of the zombies found was between the ages of 40 and 60 years old and the other was 20 or 30 years old. They were laid side by side and had large rocks shoved into thir mouths. paragraph 6

If Canada and the us combine it would basically be contenental suicide. If we combined I think it would weaken the us and cause other countries to attack us and take us over while at the same time basically getting a two for one deal. Also if we combined we would definentally not benefit, the only one that would benefit is Canada and that’s only because they wouldn’t have to build a whole army at onetime it would already be built. Also there would be a ton of fightimng and probably start a modern civil war. It would take way to much time and money to transition two countri
