In rome some restorers have layed out a 33 million dollar plan to restore the roman Colosseum. Activists against this say it could cause damage to it and cause lasting and dangerous damage to the monument which could cause it to collapse or make it unsafe forcing it to close down losing millions of dollars in tourism money. Also this project would take a really long time which would most likely mean closing the monument for a period of time losing the itilian government lots of money, since it gets up to 2 million visitors a year

I think we should preserve history. At the same time it could damage and ruin this piece of history. peyton is right if it was damaged it would lose the government millions of money. but all in all it is worth it. mostly because it these are amazing ancient structures which shows where we came from. so im glad they are doping this.

i think they should just let the building fall down cause nothing last for ever. And i know this will lose the government money but relying on one building for income is stupid. if it comes down it comes down just let it go in piece.
